『作為國內孤獨的Skramz樂隊，我們2020發行的首張9曲全長專輯算是交出了大概滿意的答卷。中間三年風起雲湧，每一個人都被捲進時代洪流，想說的越多，越不知如何說。遏制住旺盛的創作欲後，我開始思考，我們寫的東西是不是太大了。』

公共事件和群體情緒一直是永恆的靈感來源，但時效的局限性、不同角度的代表性，是否真的能讓作品站得住腳？是否表達了最真實的自己？多年以後，這首歌除了喚醒模糊記憶，還能帶來新的觀點啟發嗎？

是時候和自己來一場深淵凝視了。

於是這一次的EP，Bennu is a Heron選擇將目光拉回自己，直面自己，貢獻出真實的個體情緒波動，不做剖析，只做忠實記錄。這是他們的私密情緒和內心畫面，共鳴與否不重要，亦不期待世人的理解和喜歡。但願在多年後，當大家再重溫時，得到的除了有毫無篡改的真實記憶，還有對過去的和解和治愈。

首支上線單曲「Home, Sweet Home」，關於家和歸屬的自我認知。

After the first full-length album of seven songs released back in 2020 was considered a satisfactory achievement. Over the three tumultuous years that followed, everyone was caught up in the tide of the times.

Five piece Skramz band "Bennu is a Heron" from Guangzhou China, they chose to turn their gaze back to themselves, to face themselves, and to contribute their true individual emotional fluctuations without analysis, only faithful recording. This is their private emotions and inner visions, whether they resonate or not is not important, nor do they expect the understanding and liking of the world. They hope that many years later, when everyone revisits this work, they will not only have an unadulterated and true memory but also find reconciliation and healing with the past.

The first single "Home, Sweet Home", from their upcoming EP, is about self-awareness of home and belonging. Out now and available on Bandcamp.
